This is a phrase I'm seeing all too often. I find it pretty annoying that it seems to be a white flag of maintaining manners and common decency. Not to mention absolutely cliche.
From my experiences there have been times where I KNOW I've stepped out of line. I may have hurt someone close to me or made an awful perception of myself. So when I see the one who I view as completely irrational and looking for a fight say "I'm me, there'll be no apologies", I become so perturbed. I think I do pretty well on personal boundaries, I can read others body language to make sure that I'm not being an asshole to whomever.
To sum this blog up everyone should be kind to one another. Being yourself is awesome, however if you're an asshole and not recognizing your behaviors to deter people away.
